Celebrating engaging science communication at the 2023 Doherty Thesis competition

Watch the winning and runner up videos that wowed judges at  Doherty Institute’s “Explain Your Research in 3 Minutes” competition. Congratulations to Jacqueline Prestedge, Harry Stannard, Rory Shepherd, Carissa Aurelia, and the many other graduate researchers who accepted the challenge.

 

Politicians’ anti-science attacks might not be as effective as you thought

This study from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat investigated what effect politicians’ anti-science rhetoric and attacks on trust in science have on the general populace. It was published in Cogitatio Press' open access journal, Media and Communication.
