Your Support Goes a Long Way

Proceeds from the Film Festival will support the Alda Center for Communicating Science, which Alda co-founded in 2009. The Center works to share the wonder and joy of science by empowering scientists and other experts to communicate honestly and effectively about their work to others, including other scientists, policymakers, students, and members of the public.

Because the world needs science now more than ever, we need scientists who are prepared to build trust, create engagement, and share the significance of science with all of us.

The Stony Brook Film Festival is proud to partner with the Alda Center for Communicating Science. The Stony Brook Film Festival is presented by Island Federal.
