2. The National Association of Science Writers statement on AI-generated text.
The National Association of Science Writers took a clear stance on using AI-generated text to replace work done by human writers and editors. TL;DR: they’re not fans, in part because of the implications for scicomm.
3. The research is in: more accessible poster designs can improve engagement at conferences.
Cochrane, an organization dedicated to making healthcare information accessible to all, recently
teamed up with researchers to introduce simpler poster templates for scientific conferences.
The results from their ‘real world’ assessment are now available.
