Tiffany Roy is a forensic DNA expert with 16 years of experience. She currently sits on the National Institute of Standards and Technology/Research Triangle Institute Expert Working Group on Human Factors in Forensic DNA Interpretation with a focus on testimony and reporting. This work has drawn her focus to the nuance of science communication to ensure the testimony and reports of DNA analysts are understood and not misunderstood by the people tasked with making legal decisions based on them.
