Working with Artists
Increase engagement with your science
Scientific understanding can be expanded by art in a variety of ways. Art can illustrate difficult concepts and processes, uncover new ways of thinking about an issue/topic, and inspire non-scientists to examine the beauty of science and research. For most scientists, graphics, illustrations, and other art forms lie beyond the scope of their expertise. Working with trained artists can help researchers invite others into their work, building trust and understanding.
In this webinar, a panel of scientists and artists discussed ways to connect and collaborate with artists and designers. Speakers are fromLifeology.io, a platform, and a community space that brings together scientists, health experts, artists, writers, and broader audiences in the creation of mobile-friendly mini-courses that can reach anyone.
