DLDI Teams

DLDI offers opportunities for Student Affairs perofessionals to participate in one or more of the following teams to create and implement impactful diversity and inclusive leadership development programs and social activities:

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TEAM identifies and implements opportunities for cultural competency training, diversity, and inclusive leadership development. DEI-related topics in higher education leadership are included. (Lead: Cheryl Chambers, Divison of Student Affairs).

PROFESSIONAL MENTORING TEAM  coordinates  the DLDI Mentoring Program, Mentoring Fireside Chats, and provide helpful resources for meaningful mentoring experiences. (Lead: Kimberly Joy Dixon, The Career Center).

SOCIAL NETWORKING AND CULTURAL ENRICHMENT TEAM will plan and implement opportunities for social interaction and cultural learning. (Lead: TBA).

DLDI RESOURCE TEAMS (f
ormerly called DLDI Affinity Groups) are individual groups based on an individual's shared identities and/or interests and intersectionality with their professional leadership development. 

At this time, DLDI has the following resource teams that are led by Student Affairs staff volunteers:

Men of Color Group
Women of Color Group
LGBTQ* Communities Group

Members of the Division of Student Affairs  can click here to join a DLDI Team by September 29, or express their interest in being a DLDI Team Leader.
