2024 Special Election 

Tuesday, February 13, 2024 (Nassau and Queens Counties) 

If you have never registered to vote before in New York, or if you need to update your voter information in New York:

• Register to Vote BY MAIL - Received by local board of elections no later than February 3, 2024
• Register to Vote IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than February 3, 2024
• Change of Address- Received by local board of elections no later than February 3, 2024

If you have registered to vote in New York and want to participate in absentee voting:

• Request Absentee Ballot BY MAIL, FAX OR  ONLINE PORTAL- Received by local board of elections no later than February 3, 2024
• Request Absentee Ballot IN PERSON - Request a ballot at your local board of elections no later than February 12, 2024
• Submit Absentee Ballot BY MAIL - Postmarked to local board of elections no later than February 13, 2024
• Submit Absentee Ballot IN PERSON - Bring ballot to your County Board of Elections Office no later than February 13th, 2024 by 9pm

Early Voting for the 2024 Special Election in New York will be from February 3, 2024 to February 11, 2024.
