Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), also known as Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), is important to maintain a healthy work environment. Indoor working environment and air quality may affect the performance, health, morale and productivity of faculty, staff and students.

All requests for indoor air quality investigations must initially go through FIXIT.
Environmental Health and Safety may conduct an IAQ investigations as requested. 

EH&S investigations may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Airborne dust
  • Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide monitoring
  • Dry bulb temperature
  • Mold and Mildew
  • Noise
  • Relative humidity
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
