Public engagement

The advancement of every society is intimately linked to its scientific and technological level. Therefore, science has a prominent social component. In addition, scientists are part of the social fabric. Hence, we need to clarify the role of science in the progress of humankind.

Our group is interested in new ways of public engagement and transferring better knowledge to society. In our view, one of the prominent roles as scientists is to communicate our results, and with it, contribute to improving the knowledge of our Universe.

Stony Brook Community Day

Our group  participated in the 2023 Community Day with a new exhibition of challenging intuition via physics, and it was a blast. We had many visitors, including the president of the University, and many kids interested in physics and STEM.
