Entries are now open for three major science journalism prizes from CASW.

The Council for the Advancement of Science Writing is now accepting entries and nominations for three major science journalism prizes that will be awarded in 2024. CASW is also accepting applications for graduate fellowships in science writing.



A college course is teaching artists how to make comics for research.

Researchers at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design are trying something new  – pairing scientists with artists to create a comic to bring research to life. 



A virtual workshop is helping researchers understand people's responses to hurricane warnings.

Researchers from Stony Brook University, George Mason University, Howard University, and the EPA collaborated to design a workshop to investigate communication tools that might be more effective at getting people to take action when a hurricane is approaching.
