Josh is a full-time Lecturer in Applied Improvisation. He is a multidisciplinary theatre artist specializing in puppetry & improvisation, and has been a practicing artist since 2003. Josh has developed Alda Method programs for Climate Communication, Forensics Communication in Courtrooms, Communicating Science to Policymakers, and various custom curricula for clients globally.
Josh is the Co-Founder & Producing Artistic Director of Shake on the Lake and the New York State Puppet Festival, a rural-based professional theatre in Perry, NY. He holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and is a member of Actor’s Equity, the union for professional actors. More at joshriceprojects.com
