2nd year WGSS PhD student AJ Castle's essay, "The Cipher Cut" was featured in the 2023 zine/collection, 2 Trans 2 Furious: An Extremely Serious Journal of Transgender Street Racing Studies, and has won the Lamda Literary Award in the LGBTQ+ Anthology category. Congrats, AJ!

WGSS Asssociate Professor, Nancy Hiemstra, and PhD Student, Hafza Girdap, co-authored the newly published article entitled, "Gendered State Violence and Post-Coup Migration out of Turkey" in Women's Studies International.
