The SBU Club Swim Team will help students stay active and work on competitive and recreational swimming skills. through the club, students will have the opportunity to swim either competitively or recreationally, meet new people, and have fun. We also have a pilot program to teach basic survival swimming skills to those who cannot swim.

FAQ
1) How To Join?
      You can join by just showing up at the Sports Complex Pool next to the Rec Center!

2) Can I Join During the Middle of the Semester?
      YES! You can join the club at ANY time!

3) Are There Any Requirements?
      Our one and only requirement is that you are able to pass your swim test. It proves that you can both swim 50 Yards and tread water (Float) for one minute unassisted.

4) What if I can't swim?
      We have a brand new pilot program that can teach you how to swim please reach out to the E-Board for more information.

5) Do I Need Any Personal Equipment?
      NO!!! You can bring a set of goggles and a cap if you want to. We also have some spares you may borrow. Beyond that, we will provide all the equipment for you.

6) Are You Competitive or Recreational?
      We are both competitive and recreational it all depends on what you want to do.
