I am pleased to announce that we are now seeking candidates for the next Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Provost for Graduate and Professional Education.

As we have shared previously, this will be an internal search, open only to current Stony Brook University faculty. This decision was made based on feedback many of you shared in a community-wide survey in the fall.

We have posted information on the position and application process on the Provost’s Office website, which you can view by clicking here. The position will remain open for applications through Thursday, March 9, 2023.

The Provost’s Office will share additional information when finalists are selected. Each finalist will make a public presentation to share their vision for graduate and professional education. We will also seek community input on finalists through feedback surveys.
