Deadline to Submit 2024 Stony Award Nominations is April 22

Dear Stony Brook Faculty, Staff, and Healthcare Workers,
The deadline is approaching for you to nominate one of your Stony Brook colleagues for a 2024 Stony Award, an official honor that recognizes the exceptional faculty, staff, and healthcare workers who consistently go above and beyond in service to Stony Brook’s mission and values.
Please see the Stony Awards website for more details on each award and keep in mind that the deadline to submit online nominations is April 22. We look forward to celebrating our finalists and winners at the second annual Stony Awards on November 20. Last year’s inaugural event was an evening to remember, and I know this year’s will be too.
Since my arrival at Stony Brook almost four years ago, I have seen first-hand how Stony Brook faculty, staff, and healthcare workers inspire one another and challenge one another every day. The Stony Awards are a critical effort to show our gratitude for your work and recognize this community at its very best. I hope you will take some time to reflect on those in our community who inspire you and consider making a nomination.
