Giving Day 2024

Dear Stony Brook Faculty, Staff, and Students,
Tomorrow, March 27, is Stony Brook’s annual Giving Day, a day when we continue our tradition of holding doors open for Seawolves everywhere.
For 24 hours, the entire Stony Brook community will come together to support students, faculty, academic programs and initiatives across the University’s footprint. You came forward in remarkable ways last year, from providing scholarship support to funding the impactful work of the Cancer Center and so much more. This year, our goal is to raise $1 million. If history is an indication of our future success, I am confident that we will meet – and exceed – that goal.
Because of you and the impact you make on campus every day, Stony Brook is on an incredible path forward. We are innovating and collaborating in new and exciting ways as we uncover solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. As one of America's 50 best hospitals and the first on Long Island to earn the Joint Commission's Health Care Equity Certification, Stony Brook University Hospital is providing extraordinary care to patients from Montauk to Manhattan. And we continue to lead the nation in social mobility, holding doors open for all of the world’s best students from all backgrounds.
