IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR TAX EXEMPT EMPLOYEES

IMPORTANT REMINDER: If you are claiming Exempt from Federal and/or State tax withholding and wish to remain Exempt for the 2023 tax year, you must update your tax status by February 15, 2023. Failure to submit new tax forms will require us to change your withholding to Single-0 until updated forms are received.

For Federal exemption, sign into solar, NYS Payroll Online.

For State exemption, fill out and return the IT-2104-E, to state_payroll@stonybrook.edu.

Forms can be found on our website at www.stonybrook.edu/hr, under Forms and Publications or in our office, Room 390, Administration Building.
