Interests: Eighteenth Century British Empire, Capitalism and Sovereignty, Corporate history and the East India Company

My interest is in British imperial history in the early modern era, especially the eighteenth century. Specifically, I would like to delve into the tumultuous situations of the eighteenth-century empires, with a primary emphasis on the question of capitalism and sovereignty. I hope to shed light on the historical dynamics that shaped this critical period and find implications for our understanding of the British Empire and its characteristics.
