My work has been focused on the way Colombian State Violence shaped the political participation of left-wing and human rights movements. I am currently interested in studying how Colombian left-wing militants got enrolled in and connected with transnational solidarity networks around the world to understand their participation in spreading ideas about internationalism and a new economic order during the Cold War.
